Academic excellence

In using an Elsevier ranking tool to look at the scholarly output of the top hundred institutions in the field of electronic waste recycling, the University of New South Wales’s ranking is 7^thin world and 1^st in the Asia Pacific region with 40 scholarly outputs, from which 33 were produced by the SMaRT Centre.

From 2014 to 2020, SMaRT Centre researchers published:

Published 210 journal papers (more than 90% in the Q1 ranked journals such as Advanced Functional Materials, Nature journals, Recourse, Conservation & Recycling, etc.).
Prepared 20 conference papers and 4 scholarly book chapters.
Gave over 246 Plenary/keynote lecturers in scientific/professional conferences.
Reviewed numerous journals, conference abstract and research grant applications as editor and reviewers.
