Join the Micro Focus team in a virtual volunteering activity to contribute to a good cause and make a positive social impact to our APJ community.

Would you like to learn how to make a positive impact to our Earth, and contribute your time to underprivileged children? In this 75-minute exclusive session, be inspired by people passionate in driving change for the greater good.

We are honoured to have Veena Sahajwalla, Laureate Professor and NSW Australian of the Year 2022, headline this session to inspire us on how we can build a waste-free economy.

Hosted by Sarah Atkinson, Director of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) at Micro Focus, Sarah will highlight Micro Focus INSPIRE – our company’s ESG framework that aims to make sustainable and responsible business core to the way we operate. “Climate Action” is one of several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals  (UN SDGs) that Micro Focus supports to demonstrate our commitment to being a socially responsible and sustainable organisation.

In the second part of the session, to make giving back easy and accessible, all participants will have the opportunity to contribute short audio stories that will benefit a children’s charity based in APJ. All you need is a quiet space, your laptop and a mic – or your mobile phone – to record your voice with a “friendly smile”.
