Springer Nature Symposium on Sustainability and Innovation

On 3 November, UNSW SMaRT Centre Director, Prof Veena will feature in a panel discussion at the Springer Nature Symposium on Sustainability and Innovation.

The Springer Nature Symposium on Sustainability and Innovation will feature panel discussions with leading Australian researchers, government and industry representatives, research funders and administrators, sharing their vision of how the best societal outcomes can be achieved through policy and research investment as we approach 2030.

The event hosted by UNSW will focus on leading Australian contributions to research in relation to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the intersection with the commercialization and innovation opportunities for research.

Sir Philip Campbell, Editor-in-Chief Springer Nature, will be visiting Australia at this time and will talk at the event about his work in relation to the UN SDGs.

Veena will join the discussion "Harnessing the successes in the Australian recycling and clean energy sector" to talk about various SMaRT Centre technologies and leading part of the newly establishing Australian Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy Program.
