On 15 August 2023, UNSW SMaRT Centre Director, Professor Veena, will deliver a keynote speech at Barker College's Science Week event.
She will talk about the importance of science, technology and engineering in the context of her and the UNSW SMaRT Centre's achievements.
She will also talk about SMaRT's sustainability and innovation journey in developing innovative recycling and manufacturing technologies.
Veena will share her vision for a sustainable future, highlight the importance of creating a circular economy and how using waste as a resource - including various UNSW SMaRT Centre innovations - must be at the centre of innovative decarbonisation efforts.
