The Australian Good Design Awards showcase the very best in design and innovation to a worldwide audience. Originally established in 1958 under the banner of the Industrial Design Council of Australia, the Awards have been setting the international standard for good design for more than six decades.

Recognised by the World Design Organization (WDO) as Australia’s peak international design endorsement program, the Awards have a proud legacy of recognising, rewarding and celebrating the projects, people and brands behind great design.

For more than six decades the Australian Good Design Awards have been recognising, rewarding, and celebrating the people, projects, and brands behind great design. Projects are recognised across 12 Design Disciplines and more than 30 sub-categories, including Product Design, Architectural Design,
Digital and Communication Design, Social Impact, Fashion Impact, Engineering Design, Design Research and more.

This year’s theme, the Design Effect, aims to showcase the profound ripple effects that good design can have on individuals, communities, and our world.

Winners will be announced at the Official Awards Ceremony in Sydney on Friday 20th September later this year. Winners receive brand elevating benefits such as unrestricted use of the Australian Good Design Award registered trademark, media coverage, their project featured on the Good Design Winner's Index and in the annual Awards Yearbook, plus much more.
