UNSW SMaRT Centre Director Prof Veena will speak at the Third Annual Climate Investor Forum on 19 March in Melbourne.
Veena will be talking about the urgent need to harness the valuable materials from waste for use as feedstock in remanufacturing as a critical step to truly create a circular economy and greater sustainability.
She will highlight that using scientifically developed innovations such as UNSW SMaRT Centre's Green Steel Polymer Injection Technology must be at the centre of innovative decarbonisation efforts.
"Recovering valuable materials from waste and reforming them into new manufacturing feedstock and products through collaborators, is central to help achieve the sustainability needed for the future," Veena will say in the circular economy session.
