On 9 June 2022, Veena will be a keynote speaker at the Australian Book Industry Conference 2022, BookUp, talking about sustainability and diversity.
She will cover various UNSW SMaRT Centre sustainability initiatives and technologies as well as an overview of the new national Sustainable Communities and Waste Hub that she is Leader of.
The Australian Book Industry Conference will be followed in the evening by the Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIAs), also at the ICC Sydney, offering a great opportunity to look to the future of publishing and celebrate the past year's successes with industry colleagues and peers.
