AGSM event description
Australia has a large waste problem and creation of a circular economy will help to alleviate this huge issue. ABC's War on Waste states that:
Professor Veena Sahajwalla is one of Australia's top innovators. She runs the UNSW Centre for Sustainable Materials Research and Technology (SMaRT), which is working to tackle the world's waste problem by creating useful products out of items which would otherwise go to landfill. This session will discuss the SMaRT Centre's work, the circular economy, and the need for science and business to work together to solve the worlds most pressing challenges.
Join us to learn how science innovation is helping to address these problems, and how businesses can work with science and pivot to a circular economy.
