Made in Australia event for Italian Chamber of Commerce

On 21 May 2024, UNSW SMaRT Centre Director, Professor Veena, will be a guest presenter at an event hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia (ICCIAUS).

The Chamber is hosting the second edition of Made in Australia with Italian Engineering, one-day forum and exhibition where Italian and Australian companies will have a unique opportunity to stand out and initiate a strategic dialogue with sector operators, key stakeholders, and local institutions.

With a focus on ingenuity and the development of sustainable solutions, this forum will foster collaborations in advanced manufacturing that will drive the transition agenda toward a cutting-edge and environmentally greener future.

In a panel discussion, Veena will also share her vision for a sustainable future, highlight the importance of creating a circular economy and how using waste as a resource - including various UNSW SMaRT Centre innovations - must be at the centre of our manufacturing future and innovative decarbonisation efforts.
